Congratulations to Justina Yeung, winner of our YEN2022 Image Competition! Justina wowed us with this beautiful watercolour.
She said of her winning image:
“This abstract watercolour painting captures various elements of the research in developmental biology: from zebrafish model to cell culture, from in-situ hybridisation to single-cell sequencing, from live-imaging to computational modelling. The dynamic composition of the painting conveys the synergistic efforts of the different strands of research to achieve a greater understanding of the enigmatic and captivating process of neural development.”
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in the competition – there were plenty of stunning photos, drawings, and compositions to choose from!
